This ammonite was found, cleaned up and nothing else was done to it after that. Thus, it kept its original appearance. The surface of the ammonite is partially covered with bluish mother-of-pearl. The shell was connected to the stand made of simbircite, which is the mineral that is formed in the chambers of fossilized ammonites.
